same as the present tense usted form.

There is a rhyme to help you remember how to conjugate Negative tú commands:
Go to the yo, drop the "o", add the opposite ending and add a "no".
EXAMPLE: "Don't come!
VENIR
vengo (Conjugate in present yo form)
veng_ (Drop the "o")
vengas (-er & -ir verbs add "as";
-ar verbs add "es")
no vengas (add "no" before the verb)

Formal commands usted commands
Commands you would use with an adult, a stranger, or anyone to whom you would like to express respect or social distance.


Usted commands ("Please do it.")
are conjugated much like the informal negative;
Here is an example:
Hacer
hago (Conjugate in present yo form)
hag_ (Drop the "o")
haga (-er & -ir verbs add "a";
-ar verbs add "e")
They are conjugated the same in
the affirmative and negative.

In fact, all commands
(except for the tú affirmative) can
be conjugated using the following rhyme:
Go to the yo, drop the "o",
add the opposite ending,
add there you go!

Usted and Ustedes Commands

Usted: Commands you would use with a
teacher, anyone older than you, or strangers.
Ustedes: Commands you would use whenever
you are speaking to more than one person.

Usted and ustedes commands are conjugated like
the present subjunctive. Here is an example:

hag_ (Drop the "o")
haga (-er & -ir verbs add "a" or "an";
-ar verbs add "e" or "en")
no haga (add "no" before the verb)
